Explore the Waterberg Plateau
South of Etosha lies the Waterberg Plateau. The National Park in this 50km mountain range does not grant access in your own vehicle. The are wildlife drives available, but if you want to get close to nature one of the hiking routes will be your preferred option. The park includes nine short hiking trails and four-day hike with basic shelters for self-sufficient adventurers.
The area boasts many freshwater springs (hence the name) and a few very rare species such as the stunning sable antelope and the white rhinoceros.
