Places to see in North-Western Namibia

If you want to discover the rough beauty and solitude of Namibia the North-West is the place to go. Stock your 4×4 with enough food and petrol supplies and go on an adventure.

Hostile to all seafarers the Skeleton Coast offers miles of deserted beaches for you to explore. The adjacent Kaokoveld offers many challenging 4×4 trails, the famous desert dwelling elephants and majestic valleys and mountain scenery. This is also the home of the Himba people. Largely untouched by western missionaries, you’ll find a lot of the Himba maintaining a traditional lifestyle.

Moving further towards central Namibia, you find the world heritage sites with famous rock art, a petrified forest and the Spitzkoppe mountain overlooking Damaraland.
