Itinerary

Day 1, Erindi Private Game Reserve: After pickup at 10am we arrive at Erindi for lunch. The 71 000ha private game reserve covers a varied landscape from mountains to savannah and grassland. The reserve features predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard and wild dog as well as hippo, crocodile and plains game. In the late afternoon you will enjoy a guided game drive and on your return dinner will be served in the restaurant overlooking the water hole that attracts nocturnal creatures such as aardvark and rhino.

Day 2, Amani Lodge: We start the day early and drive through the Erindi Reserve to catch the morning action. After brunch we travel via Windhoek to Amani Lodge to join the Big Cat Experience. The project is dedicated to the conservation of Africa’s Big Cats and will give you an intimate introduction to these fascinating creatures and photographic opportunities will be outstanding.

Day 3, Sossus Dune Lodge: We leave Amani Lodge early and take the scenic route to Sossus Dune Lodge. On arrival you will have some time to relax and then enjoy an optional walk to Sesriem Canyon, one of the only permanent water sources of the area. After an amazing sunset, we savour a delicious dinner and settle into our luxurious bungalows for the night.

Day 4, Windhoek: An early departure allows us to catch the dunes of Sossusvlei in the best light. Dark shadows, rusty dunes and blue skies compose the images that so many photographers dream of. After exploring Dead Vlei and Dune 45 we head back to Windhoek, where our journey ends in the late afternoon.
