Itinerary

Day 1, Windhoek to Etosha: We leave Windhoek at noon and with a brief stop in Otjiwarongo arrive at our lodge outside the gates of Etosha National Park in time for sunset. Our guides prepare a delicious dinner as everyone gets ready for an early night and an exciting day ahead.

Day 2, Etosha National Park: As the sun rises we arrive at the park gates to view the wildlife during the active morning hours. The arid conditions of Etosha drive the game to the waterholes where game viewing is particularly rewarding. As the sun rises high your guide prepares lunch and you have the opportunity to relax in the pool at Halai Rest Camp. In the afternoon we explore the vast 4500km² salt pan from which Etosha National Park derives its name.

Day 3, Etosha to Windhoek: On our morning game drive we try to spot the predators of Etosha including lion, leopard and hyena. We return to Windhoek with a light meal en-route. We spend the night at Chameleon Guest House.

Day 4, Windhoek to Sesriem: The morning allows time for an optional visit to the local Arts and Craft centre. We leave for Sesriem at noon and arrive at camp in the afternoon leaving enough time for a walk overlooking the sunset on the Naukluft Mountains.

Day 5, Sossusvlei and Seriem: An early start allows us to catch the sunrise over Sossusvlei. The early morning light on the ancient sand dunes offers spectacular photographic opportunities. Explore the world’s largest sand dunes on foot and enjoy the famous view from Dead Vlei with a contorted camel thorn tree contrasting the clean lines of the ancient dunes. After a visit to the Sesriem Canyon, one of the areas only permanent water sources, we return to camp.

Day 6, Sesriem to Windhoek: After breakfast we make our way back to Windhoek via Bullsport and Rehoboth and arrive before lunch.
